Through exploration of individual aspects of the female form removed from the entire body, pretensions and expectations are stripped and further challenged. No longer an object of sexual or maternal desire the forms are questioned and manipulated within a material context. Focus is placed on distortion, rather than creating idealised forms; resulting in a much more truthful representation of society.

Repetition is a leading concept, constant reiteration creates subtle, yet vital differences. The choice of material intensifies the debasement of the female form, the skin like materials of latex and what create an unnerving, grotesque, yet intriguing element.
